Supporting the Fight against Corruption in Nigeria through the Whistle Blower Policy: Challenges and Prospects

This paper examined the impact of whistle blower policy since its inception in Nigeria. It analysed concept corruption and perception index ranking Nigeria by Transparency International. The identified challenges to include negative effect on blower, such as; victimization, witch hunting, retaliation, denial related benefits, recrimination, suspension from work, outright dismissal service employer lack sufficient laws protect .The looked at as a step right direction towards fighting To this end, recommended, among others, that protection bill should be signed into law adequately enforced, while other enabling aimed strengthened. will make cost greater than benefit culprits would made face wrath no matter who is involved.
